US: BWH Hotels has expanded its @HOME midscale extended stay brand with an opening in McDonough, south Atlanta.Â
The five-storey, new-build property was developed by Raj Patel, CEO of Apsilon Hotels – an ownership and management company with an 18-hotel portfolio in the Atlanta area.
Located off Interstate 75 (Exit 216) at 34 Liberty Industrial Parkway, @HOME by Best Western McDonough features 128 units with kitchens and workspaces.
Amenities include a lobby market, fitness centre, laundry facilities, and on-property storage lockers.
“The opening of the first @HOME by Best Western hotel in Georgia and throughout the Southeast marks a significant milestone for the extended-stay brand,” said Patel. ”Selecting McDonough for this project was a strategic choice driven by the area’s robust economic growth along the I-75 corridor and strong demand from business, logistics and long-term travellers. Designed to deliver a streamlined extended stay experience, @HOME by Best Western strikes the right balance between the comforts of home and the convenience of hotel living.”
The McDonough property marks the second @HOME by Best Western location to open in the United States, following the brand’s debut in St. George, Utah.
A second Atlanta-based property in Fairburn, also developed by Apsilon Hotels, is expected to open in 2027.
“Extended stay remains one of the most resilient and attractive segments in hospitality, and @HOME by Best Western is proving to be a powerful growth vehicle for our developers,” said Brad LeBlanc, SVP and CDO for BWH Hotels. “With a growing global pipeline and strong interest across multiple markets, we’re building a brand that delivers what today’s guests want and what owners need: an efficient operating model, a compelling value proposition and long-term growth potential.”
Across its extended stay portfolio, BWH Hotels’ global pipeline is projected to reach 34 hotels and 2,791 rooms by the end of 2026.
