LivAway Suites breaks ground on first Virginia property

US: Economy extended stay hotel brand LivAway Suites has started work on its first property in Virginia, located in Hopewell. 

The Hopewell property, south of Richmond, is located close to Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia State University, and TriCities Hospital. 

It will target military personnel, healthcare professionals, and academic staff and visiting families. 

“We’re excited to bring LivAway Suites to Hopewell and to expand our footprint into Virginia for the first time,” said Kevin Dailey, chief operating officer at LivAway Suites. “This location places us at the intersection of military, medical, and academic demand, allowing us to deliver the comforts of home to guests who need reliable, extended-stay accommodations.”

In January 2026, LivAway Suites opened its first property in Arizona, marking the first of five properties now open or under construction across the state.
