US: Peachtree Group has opened the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Palmdale in California, a 220-room extended stay hotel to be operated by the firm’s in-house hospitality management arm.
Located at 39330 Trade Center Drive in the Antelope Valley, the extended stay hotel was developed by Peachtree Group. It sits close to major aerospace and defense employers including Edwards Air Force Base and Lockheed Martin. It is also close to attractions such as DryTown Water Park.
The property offers fully equipped kitchens, ergonomic workspaces, a fitness centre, outdoor pool, pet-friendly suites and Marriott Bonvoy digital check-in.
The hotel was one of Peachtree Group’s early EB-5 projects. The EB-5 visa program allows foreign nationals who invest a minimum of $800,000 in a US-based project that creates or preserves at least 10 full-time jobs for US workers to apply for permanent residency.
Greg Friedman, managing principal and CEO of Peachtree Group, said: “The project demonstrates how we can align development expertise, hospitality operations and flexible capital solutions around investments designed to create value while supporting job creation and local economic activity.”
Adam Greene, EVP of EB-5 at Peachtree Group, added: “Palmdale was one of the early projects that helped establish our EB-5 platform and demonstrates how the strategy has evolved. The successful opening reinforces the role EB-5 can play in supporting hospitality development, creating jobs and expanding investment opportunities across growing markets.”
Peachtree Group’s hospitality management division currently manages 111 hotels across 30 brands nationwide.
