US: Flexible living operator Sentral has opened Forme in Houston, a 33-storey residential and extended stay hotel.

Located at 5501 La Branch Street in the Museum District, the project is housed in the former coliving development known as X Houston. After construction stalled for more than year, New York firms Raven Capital and Mavik Capital rescued the project in 2024.

Now operated by Sentral, the recently opened tower features 475 residential units and 55 hotel suites which can be booked for extended stays of 30 days or more.

Amenities include a floor of coworking operated by Regus, a fitness space, cocktail bar and lounge, pool deck, and other social spaces.

Noah Himmel, chief operating officer at RCM Living, a division of Raven Capital, said: “The entire concept is about trying to activate and program the building in a way that people get out of their apartments, get into the common spaces, engage in programming, and meet each other, network, and become better for it.”
