Portugal: Lifestyle aparthotel brand Wilde has expanded its footprint in Portugal with a second property in the country, located in Porto.
In the Clérigos district, sat between Rue De la Galeria de Paris and Praça Guilherme Gomes Fernandes, Wilde Porto has been designed by Stephanie Barba Mendoza.
It features 78 studios and apartments with options for up to four guests, as well as the cafe Oscar’s and rooftop bar O’s Above. Wilde has also parted with bakery Royale Pão Paixão, where the adjacent shop serves locally sourced products.
Later this year in September, Wilde will open a 120-unit aparthotel in Amsterdam, set within the Yvie residential development overlooking the IJ River.
Kelly Morgan, managing director at Wilde, said: “Like all other Wilde locations across Europe, we selected Amsterdam and Porto as destinations with deeply rooted creative and cultural characters, perfectly mirroring the Wilde ethos. These openings allow us to continue our mission of delivering a home-away-from-home experience where the flexibility of apartment-style living is integrated with the elevated service and design-led aesthetic of a boutique hotel. We look forward to bringing guests to discover the vibrant neighbourhoods that we are now a part of.”
