UK: Cairngorms National Park could see more serviced apartments after London Edinburgh Investments Ltd secured a loan to regenerate a hotel in the area.
Assetz Capital has provided a £2m development funding loan to London Edinburgh Investments Ltd to regenerate the former Star Hotel, in Kingussie.
The hotel will become Wolf Hall Apartments with 17 apartments, with bedrooms and kitchens. Guests will also be able to enjoy wood-fired pizzas at the restaurant and bar on site.
The property will be completed in December this year.
Fort William was recently in the news for another redevelopment of a hotel on Loch Linnhe, with plans for possible serviced apartments.
