US: 2nd Address, an extended stay marketplace for business travellers has partnered with Jacob Street Partners to provide insurance for guests.
The partnership will include enhanced property and liability insurance on a short-term basis to guests staying with 2nd Address.
The 2nd Address partnership with Jacob Street ensures that guests have the same level of protection or greater than if they were in their own home. In addition to personal property protection, the program also provides personal liability coverage and accidental damage to the unit. This coverage adds to 2nd Address’ suite of features that support duty of care programs for travel managers.
“Due to our rapid growth, we needed an insurance product that not only protects our guests and solves the duty-of-care demands of our business customers but is also able to grow with us. Our clients expect best-in-class service and we are pleased to be able to partner with Jacob Street to provide them with this additional layer of protection,” said Chung-Man Tam, CEO of 2nd Address. “Having this coverage is consistent with our standard of excellence that we provide our guests during their stay.”
Elizabeth Soley, president of Jacob Street Partners stated: “We are excited about our partnership with the 2nd Address. We designed our program specifically to help business travelers since our coverage is available on a daily basis and in 180 countries worldwide. 2nd Address’ clients can now focus on the job at hand instead of worrying about whether their belongings are safe.”
2nd Address customers include Google, LinkedIn and KLM Dutch Airlines.</p
