Germany: Serviced apartment direct booking platform Acomodeo has strengthened its relationship with German apartment operator Derag Livinghotels.
Approximately 3,000 Derag Livinghotels apartments are now available with exclusive rates for business travellers via Acomodeo.com. With properties in locations including Berlin, Düsseldorf, Munich and Frankfurt, Acomodeo says it is now in a better position to cover the current demand for professionally-managed serviced apartments with Derag Livinghotels.
Eric-Jan Krausch, founder and CEO of Acomodeo, said: “Our goal is to make the booking of an apartment on a long-term basis as simple as a hotel room. Through the strategic partnership with Derag Livinghotels, we have been able to win an already established brand, which shares with us this goal and drives forward.”
Tim Düysen, CMO of Derag Livinghotels said: “Online bookings in the field of serviced apartments, and the need for this form of booking, are growing steadily and gradually. As an independent provider, we have always put great emphasis on establishing our own in-house booking platform over the years. But we are also aware of the fact that, at this point, we need to be prepared in the best possible way to meet the needs of our business travellers, guests and customers without any loss of time. With our partner Acomodeo, we will continue to pave the way for new markets.”
Krausch will be joining Google and Booking.com’s Jason Grist, on The Distribution Picture panel session at Serviced Apartment Summit Europe, July 12-13, London.</p
