Worldwide: Eight serviced apartment operators which supply inventory within the Synergy Global Housing network have been awarded “Accommodation Excellence” from ratings company Bureau Veritas.
Bureau Veritas is an independent certification agency which has developed a verification program for the hospitality sector.
Partners of Synergy were assessed in categories such as contractual compliance, physical security of the perimeter of the building, maintaining appropriate operating licenses, and more.
Recipients of the “Accommodation Excellence” certification include:
• ADOOR
• Aplus Housing
• Little Tai Hang
• Radius Real Estate
• Suite Home Corporate Housing
Michelle Low, VP of global supply chain for Synergy, said: “We are pleased to recognise the first eight Synergy supplier partners who have met the stringent criteria established by Bureau Veritas for the Accommodation Excellence certification. Companies receiving this recognition have fulfilled the highest industry quality standards of an independent, unbiased assessment which translates into their ability to provide best-in-class extended stay accommodations.”
David Vigil, senior director at Bureau Veritas, added: “Many of the serviced accommodation programs we have seen are self-administered, but Synergy wanted to go a step further and have a third party independently verify the suppliers in their network. With this recognition, stakeholders can have confidence that the lodging options offered through Synergy are held to the highest level of requirements.”
Companies will participate in annual assessments to retain the “Accommodation Excellence” certification.
