UK: London-based operator Cheval Residences is the first serviced apartment brand to adopt Criton’s new group app functionality across its portfolio.
Criton, which offers intuitive app builders for the hospitality sector, has announced the launch of its group app functionality. Created specifically for the hospitality sector, the new product enables accommodation providers with multiple properties a platform to include information on each one within a single container app.
London operator Cheval Residences is the first serviced apartment group to adopt the new technology, with eight of its properties contained within a new app.
Julie Grieve, founder and CEO of Criton, said: “Our new product will be transformative for groups of serviced apartments and hotels as they wrap all guest-facing technology into one unique portal and we are delighted that the team at Cheval Residences is already benefiting from our new functionality. Group functionality is a game-changer for multiple properties like Cheval; enabling them to showcase the unique personality of each property while reinforcing their brand, increasing direct bookings and driving loyalty from new and repeat guests.”
Cheval Residences has created its own branded parent app, which contains standalone apps for all its serviced apartments. Guests at any Cheval property can download the app on their personal mobile device to find out everything they need to know about the property they’re staying in; or review information on other locations and consider a future visit.
George Westwell, director at Cheval Residences, said: “As an accommodation provider who has delivered excellence for the last 35 years we take great pride in delivering a high standard of guest experience. With the new Cheval app we are not only able to personalise the guest experience at each of our residences, but with Criton we also have complete control over our content and brand.”</p
