UK: Criton has appointed Roz Hewitson to the new role of product manager as the company continues to expand.

She will be instrumental in ensuring that the development of the UK’s first DIY app builder for the hospitality sector maintains its competitive advantage and responds to the needs of the market.

Hewitson was previously a senior project manager at Realise, where she managed multimillion pound projects for a wide range of clients; from business transformation to large scale UX, design and technical builds.

Following the announcement of a £5 million investment in November 2017, Criton has grown significantly and now employs 18, with staff numbers expected to rise to 24 by the end of May.

Julie Grieve, founder and CEO of Criton, said: “This is a very exciting time for Criton as we build a strong team with extensive industry experience to meet our global ambitions. I am delighted that Roz is joining our team. She has previously managed large-scale projects with high profile clients and I am excited to be working with her as Criton continues to grow through her knowledge of digital development and transformation.”

Hewitson said: “Criton is at the forefront of guest-centric travel tech and this is a fantastic time to join the company. The future potential for our products is significant and my role is to ensure that we will continue to be ahead of the game and respond to our customers’ needs.”

Criton is a sponsor of the Serviced Apartment Summit Europe 2018.</p
