UK: Elina PMS has launched a booking engine designed to help serviced apartments get more direct bookings from leisure and corporate bookers.
The company says its team “identified three elements where booking engines for serviced apartment providers were weak, then made some serious upgrades to the existing booking engine”. It is now fully mobile friendly, and includes “sale psychology to persuade the website visitor to book and markets serviced apartments as more than just rooms”.
Serviced apartments are able to market their apartments – showing the size, number of rooms, number of bathrooms, amenities and type of accommodation.
Duncan Chappell, commercial director at Elina PMS said: “Where the PMS can beat the OTA is in the data. We can show how many bookings were made in the last 24 hours full stop, not just via one channel. Where the serviced apartment can win versus the OTA is in pricing and content. This booking engine helps with all those elements.”</p
