UK: Patrick Kearney, the owner of Belfast’s Ten Square boutique hotel, has announced plans to invest more than £40 million in two new aparthotels in the city.

A Ten Square aparthotel at Stockmans Way would be known as Ten Square West, with its sister property at Adelaide Business Centre on Apollo Road known as Ten Square South.

A spokesman for Kearney’s company, Kilmona Property, said Ten Square West would mark an investment of around £18 million in an 82-bed hotel and 46 apartments, with a further £23.5 million being invested in Ten Square South, which would feature 87 bedrooms and 26 apartments, as well as 14 business studios and 10 studios for co-working and co-living.

Kilmona will be holding pre-application community consultation events at The Doyen pub of Balmoral over the next two weeks ahead of filing planning applications for the proposed hotels.</p
