Serviced apartment operator buys Cardiff hotel

UK: Serviced apartment group The Spires has bought No. 10 Cardiff hotel off a guide price of £2.15 million.

The hotel backs onto Bute Park, near the centre of Cardiff, and was sold by
Green Duck Hotels Limited, represented by Savills.

The 21 bedroom boutique hotel has a restaurant with 30 covers, bar and a function suite.

The Spires operates serviced apartments in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

James Greenslade, associate director in the hotels team at Savills, said: “No. 10 Cardiff has built up an excellent reputation as a quality boutique hotel with an excellent food and drink offering. We are pleased to have secured new owners for the property for the next chapter of its life.”</p
