UK: Serviced apartment provider The Stay Company has introduced an automated key collection system and has partnered with guest experience platform Duve.

The introduction of KeyCafe – a cloud-based key collection system – will allow The Stay to offer a contactless check in and out service 24/7. Through an app, it will also allow the company to track all keys from a single account.

Additionally, partnering with Duve will enable The Stay to segment guest journeys from the initial enquiry to booking confirmation through to check out. Details such as reason of visit, language, interests and travel method are consolidated in the system, supported by a communication tool.

With over 100 luxury apartments across Derby and Nottinghamshire, Duve’s software also provides a location feature for guests to find directions to their chosen property, with street view imagery and map links available.

Sara Boguslawska, guest service manager at The Stay Company, said: “Through embracing these innovative technologies, we can elevate our entire guest experience, making a stay with The Stay Company even more seamless, convenient, and enjoyable. Our guests deserve the best, and this digital transformation is a testament to our commitment to improving our service offering.”

Dan Wilkinson, director of The Stay, added: “Investing in digitalisation isn’t just a choice, but a strategic imperative for The Stay Company. Our mission is to provide a home-from-home experience with our luxury apartments; these new technologies will help us shape the future of hospitality and meet the growing demand for premium, extended stay accommodation in and around the East Midlands.”
