THE HAGUE: YAYS and RE:BORN Real Estate are joining forces in the heart of Scheveningen, The Hague Beach, to develop an eight storey building into YAYS serviced apartments.

YAYS and RE: BORN signed a long term lease agreement during the real estate exhibition Provada 2022 for the old office building at Gevers Deynootweg 61.

The site will be redeveloped into a series of multi functional buildings including a YAYS serviced apartments with 66 units, which can be linked into 34 larger apartments. The idea is that studio apartments can link together to create two and three bedroom apartments.

The Scheveningen neighbourhood dates back to 1880 and the design of the new YAYS apartment building will reflect the grandeur of the past.

Niel Slob, founder & CEO RE:BORN said: “With YAYS we have found a partner that matches our ideals Dynamic, Dear and Sustainable. We want to bring back the lost grandeur to Scheveningen. Moreover, we found each other in adaptability of the building. In the short term, YAYS will soon be able to respond to the market by season by linking several studios into two and three room apartments and in the long term it will be suitable for living and as a hotel and office.”

Zachary Schwartz, CEO YAYS group added: “We are proud to open a second location in the municipality of The Hague and excited to help make this neighbourhood in Scheveningen flourish again. We are looking forward to working with RE:BORN and are convinced that, in cooperation with all our partners, we are innovative when it comes to functionality and design in the serviced apartments sector.”

YAYS Group offers boutique apartments for short and long stay guests. It recently appointed a France specialist to focus on further expansion into Europe.
