UK: Your Lofts will manage 12 serviced apartments after planning was given to redevelop a former care home in Newcastle.
Known as Springfield Park apartments, the property will be managed by Your Lofts, which is a subsidiary of developers Modo Bloc.
Modo Bloc’s £2m project has been designed by architecture consultancy Adelphi and will feature 12 serviced apartments, including five one-bedroom apartments and seven two-bedroom apartments.
George Jenkins, managing director of Modo Bloc, said: “Springfield Park apartments will be delivered to the same high standard of building construction and interior design as Chelmsford Lofts. These are designed with an aspirational, modern standard of living. Central to all designs is the open plan living space.”
Your Lofts, a family-run business, operates design-led high end serviced apartments in Newcastle.
In January this year developers got the green light to convert the former Allied Irish Bank building in Newcastle city centre into serviced apartments, a bar and restaurant.
