US: Strategic Property Partners has partnered with Method Co. to bring the ROOST aparthotel brand to Tampa, Florida.
ROOST will operate part of Asher, a new apartment tower at 1050 Water Street. The tower is part of a 56-acre mixed-use pedestrianised neighbourhood. ROOST Tampa will open in the building in spring 2022.
Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, the building “offers a nod to Tampa’s industrial history with oversized divided-light windows that maximise natural light”.
ROOST Tampa will occupy the first six residential floors. It will offer 97 studio, one- and two-bedroom homes, as well as coliving units. Offering a move-in ready experience, ROOST Tampa homes will feature fully equipped kitchens, modern appliances and furniture inspired by the rich heritage of Latin America that is prevalent throughout Tampa’s neighbourhoods, and pieces from designers including Beni Rugs, Luteca, Menu, and Gubi.
The development’s amenities include 24-hour concierge, a pool deck, a dynamic rooftop space complete with cabanas, outdoor kitchens, an indoor-outdoor bar, and an entertainment lawn. Inside, there is a fitness centre, entertainment space, a screening lounge and a coworking space with private conference rooms.
