ASIA: Langham Hospitality Group has announced Markus Aklin as vice president development, Asia Pacific.
Based in the Hong Kong corporate office Aklin will leverage his experience in market entry strategies and accelerate the growth of Langham Hospitality Group’s portfolio in Asia Pacific region, following the opening of The Langham, Jakarta and the imminent opening of The Langham, Gold Coast.
The Langham Gold Coast will offer 169 rooms, including 17 suites and a presidential suite with sea views.
The Langham, Gold Coast, which will open on June 23, is the latest addition to the Langham Hospitality Group’s Australian portfolio, joining two luxury hotels in Sydney and Melbourne.
