UK/US: Serviced Apartment News has teamed up with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to publish a white paper about the extended stay sector.

Called ECHO of the future – why economy extended stay is the right product at the right time. The paper outlines the history, definition and performance of the extended stay sector, as well as highlighting the sector’s rapid recent growth and appeal to the investor and owner communities, particularly in the economy segment.

The publication follows the launch in February this year of Wyndham’s Project ECHO in the US. It has quickly become the company’s fastest growing brand, with 100 properties signed – a testament to the heightened appetite for economy extended stay since the sector’s resilient performance through the pandemic.

Dimitris Manikis,  president for Europe, Middle East, Eurasia and Africa, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said: “The extended stay offering continues to make impressive strides, driving strong interest from guests and developers. We see enormous opportunities for the hospitality industry, today and well into the future, and our focus is to continue to expand the offering in more destinations.”
