ASIA: NH Hotels has revealed plans to open its first property in Asia next year with an aparthotel in Thailand.
The 271-key property will include hotel rooms and serviced apartments, and guests will be able to use the all-day restaurant, lobby cafe, swimming pool with bar, gym, tennis court and kids’ club.
The aparthotel will also offer meeting and events facilities, including a 1,000 sqm marquee, business centre and parking.
The new offering will be a refresh of the existing Boat Lagoon Resort, on the east coast of Phuket in Thailand. The Boat Lagoon marina is a vibrant area with shops, restaurants and bars and the new hotel will be known as the NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort.

NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort will open in the first quarter of next year.
NH Hotel Group, which also includes the premium NH collection brand and lifestyle brand Nhow, was acquired by Minor Hotels in 2018. It currently has 330 hotels in 30 countries across Europe and the Americas.
