UK: Planning permission has been submitted to Renfrewshire Council to convert a pub and restaurant in Paisley, near Glasgow, into an 11 unit aparthotel.
Fouin + Bell Architects Ltd on behalf of the applicant have lodged plans to convert a vacant pub and restaurant located at 42 New Street in Paisley into an aparthotel.
Plans call for five one-bed units on the ground floor located around an open courtyard. The first floor will also comprise five one-bed flats whilst the second floor will offer a larger, two-bedroom apartment.
All one-bedroom apartments will come with a kitchenette. The two-bedroom apartment will offer a full kitchen and a lounge.
The rental terms outline check in would be available from 3pm on the first day of the rental period and will conclude at 11am on the final day. A non-refundable deposit representing 25 per cent of the total cost would be required at the time of booking. Should the booking be made within six weeks of commencement, the full payment would be due.
Pets and children under the age of 10 are not permitted and there would be a maximum number of two guests within each accommodation.
Renfrewshire Council are yet to make a decision on the proposal.
