Sweden: Corporate housing provider Forenom has appointed Erik Johnson as the group’s country director for Sweden, effective from the start of 2025.

Johnson previously served as CEO of industrial machinery manufacturer KONE Norway, a role he held for seven years.

In his new position with Forenom, Johnson will oversee the group’s 2,000-room portfolio in Sweden, ensuring the company’s offerings meet customer needs. In addition to optimising the product range (serviced apartments and hotels) for different customer segments, he will also identify growth opportunities in the country.

“I am very excited to join Forenom and see it as an exciting challenge,” said Johnson. “My long-standing background in various leadership roles at KONE has given me solid experience, which I now want to use to develop Forenom in Sweden. Together with our team, I look forward to strengthening our position in the market.”

Jussi Saarinen, CEO of Forenom Group, added: “Erik Johnson’s extensive experience is a valuable asset for Forenom Sweden and strengthens our position as the leading provider of flexible accommodation solutions for businesses. We are pleased to offer our clients even better services thanks to Erik Johnson’s expertise.”

Forenom manages 9000 locations in the Nordic countries and project accommodation operations in Central Europe.
