US: Reside has opened a new apartment-style accommodation in Philadelphia as part of its partnership with Wyndham Hotels, expanding its US extended-stay portfolio.

The Heid Lofts by Reside, a Wyndham Residence, officially opened on 21 January in the Callowhill neighbourhood of Philadelphia’s Parkway Museum District. The property comprises 96 fully furnished apartments within a converted industrial warehouse.

Each unit includes high-speed internet, a full kitchen and in-suite laundry facilities. The property is located close to central Philadelphia, with access to restaurants, retail, cultural attractions, sporting venues and convention centres.

The opening is part of Reside and Wyndham’s 10-year co-branding agreement announced in October 2024. The Philadelphia property joins existing Reside a Wyndham Residence locations operating in New York, Washington DC, Houston, Scottsdale, Rochester, Minnesota and Seattle.

The companies plan further expansion into additional US gateway cities, with future locations under consideration including Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver and Cleveland. The properties are available to Wyndham Rewards members and other guests.

Reside said the model is designed to combine residential-style accommodation with hotel operating standards. The company added that it can typically bring newly acquired properties into operation within approximately 90 days.

Wyndham Hotels is the world’s largest hotel franchise operator, with nearly 10,000 hotels globally. Reside is a prop-tech and alternative accommodation provider headquartered in Seattle, with operations in more than 60 countries.
