US: PRISM, the parent company of G6 Hospitality which manages the Studio 6 brand, has opened 38 extended stay properties across the United States.
The hotels are located across business hubs in the US including Dallas, Houston, Phoenix and New York, as well as leisure destinations such as Las Vegas and suburban markets including places like Greenville, South Carolina, and Pasadena, California.
Studio 6 properties are aimed at guests who will be staying from a few days to weeks and are catering to business travellers, families moving, and project-based workers.
Amenities include fully equipped kitchenettes, in-room workspaces, internet access, self-service laundry and flexible housekeeping services. The majority of properties have 100-120 rooms.
The expansion follows the launch of eight Studio 6 properties that opened earlier this year, after PRISM acquired G6 Hospitality for around $525 million.
Ritesh Agarwal, founder and chairman of PRISM, said: “In the US, we are seeing a shift towards longer-duration stays driven by project-based travel, medical staff, construction crew and temporary stays due to home renovation.”
PRISM also plans to introduce AI capabilities and revenue management systems across the portfolio.
