China: Corporate housing and serviced apartment agent SilverDoor has opened its first office in Shanghai, located at Raffles City.
The Shanghai team is led by Hana Huang and James Wills.
Huang, supply chain manager for APAC, joined SilverDoor in 2022. She brings over a decade of experience in Shanghai’s corporate mobility and real estate sector, having previously worked at Cartus as an international assignment consultant, and at Cresa Asia as senior manager of business development.
Wills returns to SilverDoor as senior client services consultant, where he previously served as senior recruitment specialist. Wills will support clients and property partners across the region and contribute to business development and account management.
SilverDoor CEO, Stuart Winstone, said: “We’ve been operating in China for a number of years and in that time, have built real knowledge of this market, genuine relationships with supply chain partners, and a track record of delivering for clients here. This office is the natural next step, at a moment when demand is accelerating and interest in this region is growing. SilverDoor’s Q2 2026 figures show China enquiries are up year-on-year, with total reservations doubling over the same period.
The company has had presence in China since 2017.
