India: ONE Atmosphere, the luxury serviced apartment brand from Atmosphere Core, has announced plans to invest USD 53 million to expand its portfolio across India and selected international markets.
The company plans to open approximately 7,500 serviced apartment keys within five years. The properties will offer apartment-style accommodation with hotel services, including daily housekeeping and breakfast.
Apartments will feature individual workspaces, a living room and a kitchen. The brand is targeting business travellers, families, expatriates and wellness travellers, with an average guest stay expected to be around five nights.
Sandeep Ahuja, managing director of ONE Atmosphere, said: “The shift in the market is clear. Guests want a full hotel experience delivered into an apartment where they can actually live for the duration of their stay.”
About 60 per cent of the company’s stock is expected to be sourced from corporate partnerships and bulk room-night deals, with demand driven primarily by relocating professionals and expatriates, it said.
ONE Atmosphere operates using an asset-light approach through management and lease agreements with developers and owners. The expansion follows continued growth in India’s extended-stay accommodation market, which the company said was valued at more than USD 1.6 billion in 2024.
