Worldwide: Eu Chin Fen, CEO of Frasers Hospitality, will step down from her role on 1 January 2027.

Eu joined Frasers Hospitality in 2011 and has decided to transition her leadership responsibilities to pursue personal interests.

It follows the privatisation of Frasers Hospitality Trust (FHT) in 2025 and the subsequent completion of the S$2.1 billion FHT portfolio optimisation on 30 September 2026.

“It has been a privilege to lead Frasers Hospitality and work alongside such a dedicated, world class team,” said Eu. “In an evolving travel landscape, I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together. By drawing on our deep extended-stay capabilities and staying true to our commitment of warm, intuitive hospitality, we elevated guest experiences across our properties with a genuine culture of care.

“I leave with full confidence that Frasers Hospitality is well-positioned for its next phase, supported by two proven leaders in Eric and Hang Song. I will work closely with them and the rest of the leadership team over the next few months to ensure a seamless transition.”

Chew Hang Song will continue to lead Frasers Hospitality as chief operating officer, reporting to group chief executive officer Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi.

Eric Gan, currently chief financial officer, will become managing director, group investment. He will report to group chief operating officer Tony Lombardo.

Sirivadhanabhakdi said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Chin Fen for her dedicated leadership and valuable contributions over the past 15 years. She has helped build a resilient global brand, established trusted partnerships and nurtured a strong hospitality executive team.

“Our evolved structure builds on that foundation by giving each part of the business clearer focus and optimised resources. Housing our hospitality investment and asset management within group investment under Tony aligns directly with our strategy to pursue an asset-light model for this sector, connecting our real estate platform to institutional capital and enabling us to grow our capital partnerships more dynamically. At the same time, empowering our lodging business under Hang Song enables the team to scale our brands globally through management contracts.

“We wish Chin Fen the very best in her future endeavours.”
