UK: Housed in a 19th Century building, Mansley Serviced Apartments will launch a new site in York with construction due to begin in Q1 2023.
Located on Parliament Street in the city centre, Mansley York will be designed by architects Vincent & Brown with interiors by Studio 2. When complete it will feature 19 self-catering apartments including 23 bedrooms, four duplex apartments, and external communal spaces.
The project is expected to open in late 2023 and will create more than 10 job opportunities. Developer Grantside will oversee the construction.
Richard Rowley, CEO of the Mansley Group said: “York, such a beautiful city with excellent transport links in an outstanding part of the UK has long been a target for us. At Mansley we seek properties which are in the best locations within a city and as such this acquisition makes a perfect addition to our existing portfolio which we are confident our guests will enjoy and appreciate.”
Mansley Serviced Apartments’ first launched at 44 Curzon Street in London’s Mayfair, which has been operating as serviced apartments since the 1960s. Close to a decade later, No. 1 The Mansions in Earl’s Court was acquired and converted to serviced apartments.
Since then, Mansley has expanded into Edinburgh, Inverness, and Cheltenham.
