US: Reside, a leading provider of global alternative accommodations, has announced two new strategic hires to the company.
Natalie Hickernell will join as chief human resources officer (CHRO) and Kelly Murphy takes the role of vice president of marketing.
The appointments come after the relaunch of Reside’s proprietary tech platform, 3Sixty, into a marketplace for business travel accommodation.
Hickernell joined Reside in May and is responsible for building all human resources systems, programs, policies, and procedures globally. She spent 19 years at BridgeStreet Global Hospitality before moving to WYAK.
Hickernell said: “I thrive on building productive bridges between the development of people and the development of technology. With the recent relaunch of 3Sixty, it’s been a very exciting time for me to have joined Reside. I’m looking forward to supporting the international expansion of the team and putting our Corporate Social Responsibility commitments into practice.”
Murphy stepped into the newly created role of VP of marketing in March, also bringing prior experience at BridgeStreet Global Hospitality in addition to Oakwood Worldwide, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, and, most recently, providing marketing consulting services for a variety of SMEs.
With over 20 years of creative and strategic marketing across the hospitality, global mobility, travel, and real estate sectors, Murphy has been instrumental in mapping out a brand strategy for both Reside and 3Sixty as each undergoes significant change and expansion.
Murphy said: “Reside has a clear mission and a unique value proposition in the industry. As a marketer, it is fantastic to have both of these to work from to tell the brand’s story. I’m delighted to be taking on this new role and growing awareness and understanding of Reside and 3Sixty deeper amongst stakeholders and potential customers.”
Lee Curtis, CCHP, CEO of Reside and 3Sixty, said: “There’s a lot of talk in the industry right now about getting “back to normal,” but we have been embracing the change, saying yes to new opportunities, and evolving our businesses, both at Reside and 3Sixty. These two new hires are and already have been critical to that journey. Kelly has helped tell our brand story effectively through marketing, while Natalie has helped support our people through this change, and I’m excited about what the future will bring. Welcome to Natalie and Kelly.”
