Georgia: Accor has announced plans for the first property in Georgia under its Novotel Living extended stay brand.

The new-build Novotel Living Batumi will feature 319 apartments with kitchen, as well as a rooftop infinity pool and restaurant.

The property is scheduled to open in 2025, and will also offer a spa with a further swimming pool and fitness centre, as well as meeting and events space.

Alexis Delaroff, chief operating officer of Accor New East Europe, said: “We are proud to introduce Novotel Living in Batumi offering extended stay services with the high standards of an international brand to our guests wishing to experience longer stays, while feeling at home wherever they are in the world.”

“Batumi is the heart of the Georgian Adjara, a modern resort with mild subtropical climate and rapidly growing tourist infrastructure. It has potential to become a perfect venue for international tourism, business and sport events. We are confident that Novotel Living Batumi, equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, will become popular among international guests and local residents thanks to its warm and homely atmosphere in such a picturesque place,” he added.

Earlier this month UAE-headquartered hotel group Rotana announced plans for a 600-room property in Batumi.

Accor launched the Novotel Living brand in 2019.
