UK: Ascott will open lyf Piccadilly Manchester this autumn, in partnership with S Hotels & Resorts PCL, a Thailand-listed company and subsidiary of Singha Estate PCL.
The Manchester lyf property is located on Portland Street overlooking Piccadilly Gardens. The site is currently being transformed and is planned to officially launch by autumn 2026.
will offer 280 units, from double rooms to triple sharing suites. Communal amenities include the BOND coworking space and CONNECT social kitchen.
Other amenities include flex meeting spaces, an 800-person ballroom, restaurant and bar alongside the BURN fitness centre and HANGOUT lounge space. Community-based events are planned, creating activations for Mancunian artists and artisans.
This is the second lyf property to land in the UK, with lyf Chelsea London, at Stamford Bridge stadium, set to open in autumn 2026. A Glasgow location is also in Ascott’s pipeline.
