Asia: Frasers Hospitality, a division of investor, developer and operator Frasers Property, will open 18 serviced apartment and hotel residences in Asia over the next two years.

Frasers Hospitality sees Asia as a key market for serviced apartments, with growing business travel, longer stays and improved cross-border mobility.

Seven of the 18 pipeline properties are set to open this year. This figure is buoyed by six signings across Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, China and Japan, of which two will open in 2026.

Fraser Suites Bangkok will reintroduce the Fraser Suites brand, with the flagship property taking up the top 10 floors of an office tower in the One Bangkok Retail development. Set to open late this year, the 261-key property features wellness offerings and two dining locations.

In Malaysia, Frasers will open Capri by Fraser, Penang and Fraser Residence Putrajaya. The Penang property will offer 248 units aimed at experience-focused solo travellers, while the Putrajaya property is family-centric, with 283 units, a games room and playroom for children. Both locations are set to open in Q2 2026.

Fraser Residence Hinode City, Hanoi will feature 401 serviced apartments in a mixed use development.

Two Chinese Modena by Fraser locations will open in Chengdu and Dalian in the next two years. This is alongside Fraser Residence Wuzhen, the company’s first countryside location outside of major cities. Set to open in Q4 2026, the 117-key property will offer one- and two-bedroom apartments with full kitchens.

Fraser Place Roppongi Tokyo will include 120 serviced apartments, a residence lounge and gym. Guests can stay in studio to two-bedroom setups from Q3 2026.

“Our focus is on expanding Frasers Hospitality’s serviced living portfolio in a disciplined and deliberate way, prioritising markets and formats where demand for longer-stay accommodation is strengthening structurally,” Frasers Hospitality CEO Eu Chin Fen said. “Asia continues to present these opportunities as travel and work patterns evolve. Our strategy centres on investing in assets and brands that are designed for extended living, are operationally resilient and remain relevant across market cycles.”
