Italy: Operator Líbere Hospitality Group (LHG) has opened its first property in Rome with a site in the San Lorenzo district of the city.
Located at Via degli Ausoni 33, the recently constructed property comprises 18 one and two-bedroom apartments, designed to accommodate both leisure and business travellers.
It joins another Italian Líbere property, located in Milan, and brings the group’s European portfolio to more than 1,000 units in operation.
Including pipeline, Líbere has more than 2,300 units in its portfolio.
Niccolò Pravettoni, head of business development at LHG Italia, said: “Launching this business in Rome is a natural step in our expansion in Italy. It is a strategic location that fits in very well with our serviced apartment model, designed for efficient, well-connected urban stays with high-quality services.”
Antón de la Rica, co-CEO of Líbere Hospitality Group, added: “Rome is a key market for any operator with European ambitions. This opening marks the start of our operations in the Italian capital and strengthens a presence we were already building in cities such as Milan.”
