Australia: Operator Veriu Group has expanded its footprint in New South Wales with the ground breaking of Punthill Albury Apartment Hotel.
Located at 600-652 Dean Street in the centre of Albury’s CBD, the 83-unit property is scheduled to open in late 2026.
The project is being developed by the Commercial Club Albury, constructed by Premier Building Company and designed by Studio 35 Architecture.
The aparthotel will offer a mix of studio, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, with a number of DDA-accessible rooms available. Each apartment will feature a fully equipped kitchen, in-room laundry facilities, and a smart TV with streaming capabilities.
On-site facilities include a ground-floor lobby lounge and reception, two conference rooms, a gym, pantry, and car parking.
The Punthill brand, which currently has 28 properties, was acquired in 2018 by Veriu Hotels & Suites.
