Europe: Property management system res:harmonics has been acquired by Banyan Software and will join Software Answers, a Banyan business.

Res:harmonics supports long-stay accommodation operators across Europe, including customers in serviced apartments, corporate housing, coliving, and build-to-rent.

The platform will join Software Answers, which Banyan Software acquired in 2024. Software Answers’ flagship product, Oscar, provides a centralised solution for property management tasks and financial reporting, serving corporate housing, serviced apartments and aparthotels.

Giles Horwitch-Smith, founder and CEO of res:harmonics, will move to the role of managing director, Europe, at Software Answers.

Horwitch-Smith said: “Joining Software Answers is a fantastic opportunity to continue to grow our vision of creating the best operating platform for long and flexible stay accommodation providers combined with the scale to keep delivering great results for our customers, our team, and the broader European market. res:harmonics has built a strong reputation by serving long-stay and flexible accommodation operators across this region. By combining that expertise with Software Answers’ scale, product depth, and long-term focus, we are creating a stronger partner for customers across Europe.”

John McAuliffe, CEO of Software Answers, said: “Having res:harmonics join Software Answers is an important step in our mission to build the leading software platform for long-stay accommodation providers. It strengthens our presence in Europe, adds valuable regional expertise, and expands our ability to support customers across this market. Most importantly, it reinforces our commitment to the operational and financial complexity that sits at the heart of long-stay accommodation.”

Arun Srinivasan, operating partner at Banyan Software, added: “What impressed us about res:harmonics is the depth of its industry expertise and the trust it has earned with customers across Europe. Together with Software Answers and CodeOne, this combination creates a focused, well-positioned platform in a vertical where operators depend on their software every day. We are excited to support John, Giles, and the entire team as they continue to grow the business.”

CodeOne is a property management system for long-stay operators, and was acquired by Software Answers in late 2025.
