STAYERY expands in Germany with office conversion in Bonn
Reading Time: < 1 minute

Germany: Operator STAYERY, in partnership with Borchard Group and Bautra GmBH, have acquired an office building in Bonn with plans to turn the site into serviced apartments.

Originally constructed in 1968 with approximately 3,000 square metres of leasable space, the office building was previously owned by a special real estate fund of the Talanx Group, managed by Ampega Asset Management GmbH.

Located at Adenaureallee 90 in Bonn, it will be converted into 79 serviced apartments with communal areas, set to open in mid-2027.

Borchard Group has previously worked with STAYERY, developing locations in Bielefeld and GĂĽtersloh. The project in Bonn marks the first joint venture alongside Bautra.

Christoph Buse, CEO of Bautra, said: “As a project developer, we rely on partners who operate sustainably and economically and at the same time impress with a clear concept. With STAYERY, we have found exactly that. The project in Bonn lays the foundation for further joint developments.”

Hannibal DuMont-Schütte, CEO of STAYERY, said: “At our Bonn location, we are demonstrating how we can actively shape a project from the outset and not just act as a tenant. This is a crucial step in our expansion, opening up further growth opportunities for us. In the future, we will be more actively implementing our own existing building conversions at selected locations.”
