US: Developer Azok Group has proposed to build a four-storey, 100-room LivSmart Studios by Hilton property along Washtenaw Avenue in Pittsfield Township.
The extended stay hotel would be located at the Glencoe Crossing shopping centre, 4500 Washtenaw Avenue. It would occupy a two-acre site behind Starbucks.
Unit sizes would sit around 330-350 square feet and feature kitchenettes, flexible living areas, and storage space.
Amenities include a fitness room, grab-and-go breakfast, a retail area and 104 parking spaces. Plans also include landscaping improvements and some outdoor areas for guests.
The preliminary site plan is yet to be approved, however the planning commission voted to postpone consideration to allow Azok Group time to obtain a zoning variance, among other items.
