Japan: Family aparthotel brand MIMARU will open its sixth property in Osaka on 1 September 2026, located close to Shinsaibashi Station.
The opening will bring the brand’s portfolio to 28 properties and 1,500 rooms nationwide.
MIMARU Osaka Shinsaibashi CENTRAL features 66 rooms of at least 40 square metres. Half of the rooms accommodate up to six guests, and each unit includes a kitchen, dining space and a washer-dryer.
The aparthotel is operated by Cosmos Hotel Management.
Mao Mochizuki, international PR at Cosmos Hotel Management, said: “From Tokyo to Osaka, and from Osaka across the wider Kansai region, MIMARU aims to be a base that helps families and friends feel closer to the places they visit and explore Japan more easily at their own pace.”
Internal data from MIMARU shows that the average length of stay across its five Osaka properties rose 5.3 per cent between 2024-25, to 3.09 nights. European guests also increased by 10.4 per cent.
A seventh property in Osaka, near Namba Station, is scheduled to open in October this year.
