UK: The Clyffe Hotel, Lowestoft, is set to reopen as an aparthotel later this week after the seafront property has been completed refurbished.
The Grade II-listed building, located on Kirkley Cliff Road, was acquired by Randall Group Holdings earlier this year. It was built in the 19th century and originally used as a family home, located near Claremont Pier and Lowestoft’s seafront.
In October 2025, East Suffolk Council granted planning permission for the project. The approved plans allowed the hotel-use to be retained while making alterations to create short-stay accommodation.
The refurbished property will offer 20 self-catering rooms designed for business and leisure travellers.
It brings a new addition to the Randall’s hospitality portfolio, which also includes The Rampart hotel in Great Yarmouth and the Ivy House Country Hotel in Oulton Broad.
